Hi,
i Have seen a set of ford factory wheels on ebay and i want to buy them the seller says they will fit my model but he said i need spacers to fit them, does anybody know what this means?!?!? they are FORD AU 1 FAIRMONT WHEELS trying to be fitted to a 96 EF thanks

Hub adaptors.. they bolt onto your exsisting hub and have another set of studs that the AU offset wheel bolts to.. do some reading on them first though.. people are 50/50 love hate these things and also check with vic roads on legals for em.

etty sure spaces/hub adapters are illegal
aparantly you can get the AU rims made with a e series offset, not sure where from though

I was talking to a guy at a wheel store in slacks creek today, and he does hub adapters.
Acknowledged that they are illegal, but he does them. Now how do you go about insuring if you use hub adapters?

lol dont tell the insurance company about spacers....
just that the car now has rims.... lots of places do make them but always say not our fault if you use them on the road.
