hey all

i have an el futura and i have a little problem with my speedo when i took it for a run on the road i noticed that everything went dead (eg speedo, tacho, fuel and temp guage) and the gearbox kicked back into 3rd for a few seconds then normal for about 10 mins then it does it all over again.

I bought a 2nd hand bcm (due to interior light staying on and brake lights not working) could this be the prob or something else.

did the problem happen with your old BCM?

since its intermittent but regular, and the LHM, first thing I would try is another ECU, sounds like something important is pretty faulty in there.

i didnt have that problem before and i had the bcm for about 1 month so ill see if i can change it and see how i go.
what is lhm and ecu
