how do i test the inhibitor switch on my gearbox?

i have the gregories manual but it doesnt say how to test it, it only says how to remove it.

cant start my car, engine wont even turn over, all electrics, fuses, relays r fine

starter motor is fine aswell

if u think its the inhibitor switch try to start the car in neutral,

It will not make a circuit in gear, it will have continuity on park, or neutral.

to bypass it, simply cut the wires going in and out of the switch and join them.
