Is it possible to get 6.5" splits into the original holes on Ed doors without modification?

I think the originals are 6" so im not 100% sure..

yep 6.5's fit fine in my eb. most aftermarket speakers are 6.5inch not 6

I had Pioneer 6.5"s in my doors and they fit fine.

Most of the time 6.5" and 6" are the same size. Just measured differently.

It will vary depending on the make and model of the speaker. My Kef's are a real tight squeeze and all but rub on the windows....
