How do I identify the injectors in my engine. I'm told that each grade of injector is a different colour, the ones in my car are a browny orange colour but how do I tell weather they are stock or larger injectors or what size they are. Car is 1994 ef mont ghia 5.0L

4.0L E-series ones are about 21lb/hr.
Ford 30lb/hr are reddy brown sort of colour.
Trouble with talking about injector colours is that it can bite you on the a***.
Eg; Smegma injectors...people think just because they are blue they 24lb...They are not.
Best thing is to read the part # off the injector in question.

Pete.

Also CHECK the pressure that injectors when tested are run at...
I always get them flow tested so I know they flow to specs and all approx the same... If not its easy to burn a piston esp on high output or forced induction engine....
