Double sided tape.
If its an original one, theres a 90% chance you'll warp it getting it off. Go VERY carefully. Its alot easier if you dont care about the boot.

Did my one on my old EDXR6 manual, you get ALL the nuts off, then you realise that you're f**k!!!
Steady ED hit the nail on the head... The double sided tape is your next problem. I used a blade to make an incision between the spoiler and boot, then proceeded to cut all the way round. it's a delicate process, one that will probably end in tears. I was painting my decklid anyway, so I wasn't worried about scratching... (honestly, there wasn't even I scatch) Patience is the key!!!! Don't worry too much about warping the spolier, they're pretty tough... But that doesn't mean you go use unnecessary force either!

I recently took the spoiler off my ef and it was double sided down. so i got a heat gun and just heated it up from under neath. it sort of melts the glue which makes it easier to pull off, then just get a platic knife or something and slide it under it.
hope that helps!

when i did this... i warmed up a butter knife till it was fukin hot.. (warmed in hot water) and slid it along till it all came off. not the easiest task ever as the glue/tape stuff is strong as balls.

Seems I was lucky on my EF, though I'm pretty sure the spoiler was put on later.
I had no tape, just bolts and some foam. |
