but is he intending to run the TT setup like a soarer (ie 2xsame size running off 3 cylinders each) or a sequential setup like a b4 liberty with th before mentioned small for low revs and bigger for high and remember the 4ltmakes enough torque to not be real laggy down low

i was thinking running 2 seperate manifolds, ie. 3 ports each, with the same 2 turbos for both, like what snort kit has, or would i be better running the 1 manifold with 2 turbos bolted to that?

Two turbo's off a 2.5 is too small...
You need ONE from a 3 Ltr
Times two...
As in a single VG30 turbo...X's 2....
Or a VL turbo from RB30 X's 2...
Turbo's fitted as std to engines back then where very small...

And even on those engines they still didn't begin to make boost till after 3000rpm.

Full spool by 3k but with load there boost way lower ...
Trust me two of them on 4.0 would spool real quick.....

The Issue with two unballanced turbo's is in the inlet where they merge.. If one isn't making simillar boost.. It will blow back through the weaker turbo's inlet ... Unless you can get this happen at much higher rpm ?? BUT then your loosing the benefit of what your after....If you want low grunt then fit a T04Z .84 AR and run 9.2 compression and tune to that... You'll light the rears no worries...
Still be dicile enough to drive at low throttle openings without boost...

twin throttle with twin turbo would solve the small/big turbo wouldn't it? but then again that would be more work, more money, for all to work well together.

phong =P~

Yes t even at the manifold if one t.b is at low pressure and the other at mid boost presure, it would soon travel back down less pressure t.b..
This would be at low rpm, it won't make power till they start spooling .. Which is what the idea is trying to do.Almost all manufacterer's have changed to single turbo or if twins ? They are the same size....
Also by having them off 2 X's 3 cylinders.. The cylinders with the smaller turbo would choke in the mid to upper rpm range...
;
Every action has an equal to opposite reaction...
Something like that????

I have tried different turbo sizes on my V8 .. Due to turbo failure I tried different sizes... It did NOT work... Just kept surging till about 3500 rpm...
The manufacturers have the tech and money to sort this out.. But imo single or twin is best using the same sized turbo's....
