I'd be interested to see the specs on that (stroke, rod length, piston comp height etc) without going to a 4.125" bore...

There was a red AU on the cover of Street Fords mag a while back running a 363 stroker, but unfortunately it didnt go that deep in the article to give the above specs.

I'm pretty sure that thing had an aftermarket block with a 4.125" bore i.e. same stroke as a 347.

I reckon it had a SVO block correct...

Not on a factory block, at 8.2 deck, with a max crank throw of 3.4 inches, and a max usable rod length of 5.4, with safe .030 you end up with 347 ci.

With a dart block, with a .125 overbore achievable, so

CID = Number of cylinders * 0.7854 * bore * bore * stroke

8 x .7854 x 4.125 x 4.125 x 3.4 = 363.5 cubic inches.

Why you would want to give a new block max bore on new build eludes me.
