Got my 347 on the rd finally but after being dynoed it cuts out when put into drive or reverse,i have to give it some revs and put it into drive with my left foot on the brake and still it takes a few goes, the cam specs r lift 542 int,563 ex,dur 224 int,232 ex,so will a stall solve this as the cam card recommends 2500+

most likely it would because the moter is'nt making much power down low so it dos'nt take long for it to drag down and stall plus they livin it up a little to ... unless you have other issus with feul or electronics..
but that is a big cam for no stall it will suffer down bottom |

I would say it needs a tune, too low a stall wont cause engine to cut out, and its a baby cam.

Its a little cam, poor vacuum at idle wont help, but if you can hold it on the brakes, and foot on the throttle says to me tune. Stall too small will cause driveline shock when engageing, and if the motor stalls when loaded under 2000rpm, I would be looking at timing

Looks like this is going too be a headfcuk, the tranny is coming out tomorrow to fix a small oil leak from the rear of the motor,I can't afford to buy a hi-stall at the moment but i could see about having my stock convertor modded by spreading the fins and brazing them to give 2500+ stall.this is prob a cheap way of doing it,any comments??
