I was just after some advice on what I can do to my SR, that I will get the best bang for $$$

I've got 10k to spend on it, and i've been leaning towards Turbo, But still not 100% sure what to do.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

How do you want it to drive? Is it going to be your daily driver or a weekend/track car? What you can do for 10k depends on how streetable/reliable you want it, eg if you want a reliable drivetrain you may want to put 2k into the tranny if an auto.

Plenty of different schools of thought here and on AFF. Search is your friend.

Wouldn't have to spend 10K on the SR if he bought a XR6T in the first place! lol

Hate to say it mate but you're better off selling it and upgrading to a XR6T..... Ive got an EF Turbo and I wouldve easily spent over 10grand on it..... You'll save yourself a whole lotta money and effort.....

If you want to keep it NA then change the diff ratio to a shorter one with lsd, fit performance cam, capa tune, high stall with tranny cooler, headwork, exhaust.

Should be enough to keep you happy, maybe even spend the change on a manual conversion....

Supercharger - look towards CAPA for complete kits,
http://capa.com.au/kits_ford.htm
Turbo - you can get Almost Complete Kits - Snort Performance

C'mon be a bit constructive here. I'm interested in any genuine help he gets as well. Trading in for an XR6T isn't an option for me as I have an ongoing need for a wagon (and the Terry isn't big enough).
