just noticed a pool roughly under the diff after i'd parked the car for a while today. wondering how likely it is my diff is leaking and if so what needs to be done. cheers.

if its the centre you have to replace gasket, its probarbly due for new fluid anyway. make sure you gat the correct type if its LSD.

would the diff be makin any weird noises if that were the case? like maybe a slight squeel and sort of a hiss noise as it turns? cuz i've heard a lot of single spinners make this noise... including mine.

i know it sounds stupid, but have you actually had a look under the car?

If you have, then you shouldn't have much trouble diagnosing it yourself or even finding that it was oil from some old puss bucket beetle or a car that reversed into the parking spot.
