Could anyone advise me how to tell the difference between the AU series engines? I have to buy one for our EB2 and would like to be sure of what the wrecker is selling me. Also, what accessories are usually left bolted on to the engines by wreckers these days?
Great site BTW, the threads on conversions are a very big help.

AU2 onwards the 5th digit will be a number indicating year of production. IE the engine number above is a 2002.
AU ones still use a letter to identify this

2000 model is Y then they go to digits, 2001 is 1, 2002 is 2 etc etc
