I think it does, although correct me if im wrong you have to drill in your own holes so that you can screw it on.

I was under the impression that the XH snorkel will suit all EA-ED models and the AU XR8 one is for the EF-EL so I would say yeah the XH snorkel should be all sweet. Someone else should be able to tell you how easy it is to install but I put the AU one in my EF and I'm pretty unco and it only took about 10 minutes max. 8-)

Anyway hope that helps. :)

EDIT: I had to drill 2 new holes behind the original ones as the holes for the new snorkel were further back than the old one, so the case may be similar for your EA. Although yeah I'm sure someone else with an EA-ED and has done it can help more with that.

This is correct.

Could anyone tell me the parts number for the xh snorkel. This will fit a eb series 2 as well?

What are the benifits? just increased performance?

to add to this, does anyone know about a XH snorkel and a XG? Seeing as it's a X series front end but with a E series motor I've got no idea.

If anyone can post a pic of a XH snorkel on a E series it would be great! Might help me to figure it all out. :?

Get in touch with rob929, he's done it to his ED, but from memory, all the snorkels from ea-ad are the same and that means the XH one would be the go.

EDMONTY provided the original info on this mod. There is a technical document (see the navigation bar on the home page) which should give you all the info you need. I realise the pics are missing from the doco at the moment, but they should return soon!
