Has anybody else gone out and bought a new set of leads to put on their AU, only to find out when they get home that the leads run under the BBM and down into a practicaly inaccessable part of the engine bay? I was stoked when changing the oil filter that ford had moved it since the EB, but now changing leads is, for me, totaly impossible.

Is there a way to change these leads? Ill post some pics tommorow after work for interests sake. I couldnt even touch more than 1 lead end from underneath as well. The only lead you can see from above is lead 6. Its far and away the worst engineering of all time.

jack it up and get them from under the car, or pull out ur thermo fans, 2 10m bolts and one connection, and ur snorkel and try and reach up under the BBM.

I had it jacked up and you could only see the side of one plug. its almost impossible to reach reliably as far as I can work out. its not at the front either, so the thermos arnt even close. its about halfway along the engine.

thinking of taking it to mech tommorow and get him to do it lol

dude the oil filter is in the same place as the EB :)

just the cross member is different allowing it to be more accesible!

as for the leads pull the airbox out! makes life a bit easier and do 1 lead at a time
