Hey guys, I posted earlier a post about changing the battery and getting weird idle at startup.
Well after driving it around more, the idle has settled down, however when the AC is on and pulling up to lights, the rpm goes bellow 500 and turns the ac compressor on and off. It stalled once yesterday. When turning 'off' the AC while the revs are really low, they jump back up to 700 (shouldn't it be the other way around??) Also, when doing shopping centre parks that require full lock turns while standing still, the power steering pump makes the engines rpm go crazy..for instance while slowly reverse parking and turning the wheel at the same time, the revs would jump up and down, and even below 500. This made the car stall once a few days ago. Im not sure if its related, but i get really bad vibrations and noises while turning at slow speed (time for a new steering pump?) Is there anything i can do to fix this idle problem? I hope I don't go through this everytime i remove the battery? |

disconnecting the battery for a period of time resets the ECU, the ecu is relearning ATM, it will come good, just give it time. do a search on here as well it has been cevered before but there is a suggested proceedure for retraining an ECU.
Cheers
