All Ford 6 bolt bellhousings are interchangeable, cleveland/windsor. Input shaft length, and input retainer will dictate if bellhousings will fit either box, good job for someone that knows what they are doing, because slight misalignment will kill the box quick smart.
From memory, I think it is able to be done.

Not worth the trouble, seen it done, better off ordering a Dellow etc bell housing to straight bolt up.

It isn't as easy as drilling out the holes for a swap between BW single rail and toploader.

A mate wasted money and paid someone to weld tags onto a T5 so it could line up with BW single rail bolt holes, there must have been an issue with just drilling out holes, to long ago to remember why he couldn't just drill out the holes.

hey mate yeah you are better off going with a bellhousing from dellow automotive, I got one for my 302 clevo to bolt up to a T5 only thing i had to do was modify gearbox crossmember a little bit, even the tail shaft was correct lenght in my XB ute

here is Dellow's number (02) 9774 4419 or (02) 9774 3873.

My one cost me around $400
