Hey guys, I did a search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

Apparantly I need camber kit and the guy recommends the other type, hat isn't the shim one (both made by the nolathane brand). Apparantly the ones he says are better (and slightly more expensive) are adjustable through accessing the wheel arches. Does $500 installed sound okay for that?

And while this is happening, I want to improve steering and control a little by upgrading my swaybar(s). Now I've apparantly secured the last available EL GT one in Australia for about $70, pick that up Monday. What other little CHEAP improvements/replacements should I do at this time also? Front and back.

I'm saying swaybar(s) and not swaybar because I remember the mentioning of a rear swaybar? I would really like to the tighten the back up and try to reduce the bouncing effect you get back then when you take a corner quickly and hit a bump. How do I tighten the back up cheaply, is there a swaybar and was there a special EL GT one that is better than standard?

Fitting a camber kit is easy, perhaps 2hrs per side -I did my own. I had heard that the adjustable ones can move out of adjustment, so I went the shim type. Be sure to get an alignment afterwards. The guy that did it was old school, with a manual alignment table-no electronics! Bursons have exchange arms for the rear end, fitted with nolathane. While you are at it, nolathane your panhard bar yourself-(bushes from Bursons), and replace the shocks, with good gas types, and your rear end will be a lot stiffer and more predictable.

Shocks and springs are like half a year old, so I think I'll leave them be. And now you are mentioning nolathane bushes, which as I recall means lots of dosh, lol.

Any price tags you can put on any of this mate?

It's the Nolathane Evolution camber kit he's talking about then.
$500.00 sounds exy to me, but then I don't know what places charge by the hour. I can't remember what those fits retail for, but I think it's about $120.00 per side from Repco.
Most wheel and tyre places will fit them aswell.

Well the first number to come out of this mouth was $300, that's the kit, so $200 in labour. That's not the shim type kit though, the "better" and slightly more expensive one you can adjust by sticking a bar through the wheel arches.

Okay, Ford want about $390 for the rear EL GT sway bar, lol (when the front EL GT is $70 something). Is there another option for the rear?

Whiteline make bigger and better front and rear swaybars for the EF/L range than the EL GT fraud ones.

O and I need to know which camber kit to get guys? I'll call soon to book in. The more expensive one, that is easy to adjust from wheel arches, or the shim design which is slightly cheaper?

Repco sell them, so do Autobarn, very few places keep them in stock though, generally they'll have to order them in.

Be careful with the shim type kits as some only have enough adjustment for stock height as i found out the hard way. I now have the Nolathane worm type (Evolution) camber kit installed and no problems with going out of adjustment. The cost was $174 (both sides) from Repco.
