Under heavy acceleration sometimes i find my car hesitates probably for a second or so, doesnt happen all the time which is the weird thing.

anyone had a similiar problem? would love to hear about it

A mate of mine had that problem in his navara ute where he'd put his foot down and the engine pauses for half a second before accelerating. He got it fixed and said it was the airflow meter. Only problem is you dont have one. Get a scandone on your sensors.
