hi all, just a dumb question, what sort of headlight blubs are in a NL?? im pretty sure the low beam is H4, but is the high beam H3 or H1??

im pretty sure that they are all H1, cos i replaced mine with xenon ones and they were H1s. dont hold me to it tho.

Fairmont/Fairlane Low/High H4. No other globe listed in the factory manual
Gli/Futura/XR Low H1 High H3.

Should be H4 low beam for the high series models. With an H3 high beam (yes I know the H4 is double filament, it also does high beam - double high beam seems to be seen as a luxury option, similar to dual horns I guess).

Low series should have H1 low beam and H3 high beam.

This is from a Ford factory repair manual for a 1994/95 EF Falcon, Fairmont, NF Fairlane, DF LTD. The head lights (as far as I know) are the same for the EL Fairmont, NL Fairlaine and DL LTD.
