Hi,

I have a XR6T and know how good they are. My brother however is considering buying an XR6T or BA-BF XR8. He is not thinking of modifying the car much or at all.

what are the pros and cons for each? Please correct me if im wrong or add your own evaluation or comments

More responsive to modify and cheaper

I personally think they are evenly matched overall. I chose the turbo because I wanted to modify it, but if he goes standard which is better?

comes down to his personal preference...
i brought a XR6T purely because i wanted to mod it, its quicker than XR8's and i still get good econmy out of it - 500kms (premium) with spirited driving!!

what are the 8's like standard/modded on fuel?

i would take a 6T over an 8 - quicker standard (even though it doesnt really sound like ur going quick compared to an 8! i've noticed haha...

plus if he does decide to mod it the T will give him more ford his $$'s...
