I used to have Lukey setup on my XC with a 302C.
But then I also fitted Lukey to my EF I6 and my Hemi 265.
I reckon Lukey sounds the best (there ultraflow or Race Mufflers).

Yep have a single Lukey offset muffler and it gives the six a deep angry noise at idle, so i can imagine it would sound nuts with an 8

I'm running a twin 2.5" mandrel bent system, with one Hooker Aerochamber and one Magnaflow resonator per pipe. I'm rapped with the note and the volume, not too loud but a nice and deep note. I must be getting old I can't stand too loud an exhaust these days. Doesn't seem to have hurt the power though, it still made 223 at the rears from a stock 200kw TE50. :)

ya dont happen to remember how much they set ya back? i was looking at these but i think they might be a bit wider than the genie ive got on there now and id have to alter the pipe work for it to fit, not gona happen. i was thinking of using the lukey race series cos im prety sure it would be a straight swap but i dont wana put it on and be dissapointed. god dam, so many choices :?

They are about $150ea. Aluminized steel housing with s/steel internals. Just one thing to remember is, the hookers are mainly concerned with power/flow etc not so much sound. They do have a very unique sound but it aint real deep like what you get from a lukey race or magnaflow. Sounds abit hollow, but i like the unique sound, have had many good comments on the note of it.
