Hey guys. My ef has recently started leaking coolant from what appears to be the head gasket.
I fully intend on replacing the head gasket when i get the cash together but until then i was wondering if anyone has used CarGo Metallic Seal-Up? http://www.motorshop1.co.uk/sealup.htm It reportedly seals up any leaks and what not in engine blocks/radiators/heads etc. I'm wondering if it can have any long lasting affects on the engine? I don't mind it being a bit of a temporary solution - i'm just after something to slow down the coolant loss for a few weeks until i can afford to replace the gasket. But don't want to use it if it is going to have ill affects in the long run. Any thoughts? |

It will block water galleries as well as the leak,
you can get a plenty of cheap motors with warranties up your way, that would be a better way to go cost less than a head gasket replacement. |
