Depends what model you have. The standard fairlne ghia's were 3.23 single leggers, but the concorde was 3.23 LSD. Unless it was optioned with it, a standard fairlane will be a single legger. stupid i know, i was spewin when i found out mine was a single legger.
If you need to check a car whether it is a lsd or not, get under rear of car, look on diff and there should be a tag there stating what ratio it is and whether it is LSD or not. BEN

On this topic - what life can you expect out of a LSD under "normal" use ? My V8 NL has an LSD but was shagged when I bought it with only 128000kms ... I'm fairly sure it was never flogged and mostly a highway runner in the NT so I was surprised that I can't have any snaking fun , even in the wet !
Is there anyway to regain some of the "LS" part - i.e. oil additives, raw eggs, banana peels, mig welder? |
