36 would be "goosing" (quick press) of the throttle after the fault codes are displayed, not sure of the exact timing of it but have a look at the tech doco. When you do this the test program shuts off each cylinder and tests the drop in rpm. If the drop is outside the tolerance then it reports it as a fault.
67 X X Neutral safety circuit failure. A/C circuit was on during KOER Self-Test. Do you have it in gear? From memory after the test completes the gear shift lever is used to activate/test the fans. I would try turning the A/C off. I believe with the test that all acces items must be off. 27 I would check to see if the cruise control has been enables somehow, not having cc myself but I didn't think this could be enabled. Also see if the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) has been unplugged for any reason |

What will happen if the speed sensor is not connected ? as I did a smartlock over ride conversion enabling the use of an ED ECU into an EB 1 and noticed I haven't connected the speed sensor wire.

depends on the gear box you are running, not an expert in that area because my car isn't mobile yet but. The VSS tells the ECU, via the instruments, how fast the car is travelling. This means it tells when the auto to shift based on speed and current throttle state. It also tells the fan to come on if under a certain speed. The obvious one is obviously how fast you are travelling. I'm going to run my old cable driven speedo and use a speedo corrector to get the correct speed for the auto gearbox. only doing this because I have changed the rear end, tyre size and the VSS is american ford not aussie ford.
There's probably more to it but this is as far as I have investigated. hope this helps in any case |
