endless pads give the same performance as ferodo DS2500 which are a race pad but the endless are dust free and not noisy at all. excellent pads they are!

If you want good brakes then your going to get dust, your also going to chomp your rotors quicker, but that's life.
Same with cheap brake pads they'll be dusty. Stuff in teh mid range - $50.00 to $80.00 mark is generally alright, but you won't get as good stopping power. If you want squeels get Bendix, personally I'm anti Bendix. |

this is the thing with endless. you get the performance they are kind on rotors and low in dust! they put out next to nothing of dust as we have trialed and tested them! they are also good for the road and track as they can take pretty high temps with out sacrificing the low friction from cold temps so they are good from cold and good at high temps. they are kinder to the rotors then formula ferodo's and will last longer. they also have very little noise. im absolutely stunned by these pads. if anyone wants any info on them i have friction values and temp ranges. and cost will vary between shapes but they are around $322

EBC Greenstuf shew through rotors like no tomorrow.
i have been running the Bendix General CTs on the ute ... I also run RDA Slotted rotors all round too. The Bendix have been very quiet .. no dust ... and pull up awesome ... especially when I have a ton in the back of the ute for work ... I also give the brakes a decent workout ... especiallt doing courier work around Sydney CBD and metro. Just replaced the front pads at 50,000km ... still had plenty of material left on them ... but decided to change them when i had the front rotors machined lightly to get rid of a bit of warping. The rears are still like new at 50,000km. Nothing wrong with the Bendix ... I don't used the ute like a race car .. it's a work ute ... but i do used the brakes ... and I like to make sure I have good brakes to pull me up when needed in traffic loaded up. If you go for the better Ferodos ... or the EBC pads ... you only need them if you are circuit/weekend racing on a track ... for everyday use on the road ... there's no real need for them (unless you enjoy emptying your pockets for the hell of it)

i use to use ferodo's and nothing but ferodo's for the road because the consistency was unreal. i decided to try some endless because they were a cheap deal and are usually twice as much as the ferodo's and i dont think ill go back to ferodo as the endless give the same response and are quite and dust free.
i also dont really like the EBC pads as i think they are a bit over rated when it comes to pushing them! my mate had them in his escort hill climb car and i ran out of brakes. we put some ferodo's in and it was sweet as. we wernt racing at the time just doing some runs on a back road as we were setting the car up. bit of a scary moment but thought i would explain why i dont like them. the DS2500 compound in the ferodo is a light enertia pad designed for light cars and even on hevier cars its perfect for everyday driving they just put a out a fair bit of dust. Pads are really preference and alot of people swear by alot of different brands i think that you should really use brands that are well known and trial them when you need them. but there is alot of good knowledge on pads on here which i think is great as you can go fast but you have to stop even when your driving on the road in traffic good brakes make a massive difference. my prefernece would be endless or ferodo pads. but like i said before thats my preference. |
