Hello can i put a xh ute computer in a ed ford just to control the thermo fans because i want to put thermo fans in but still deciding.

Is the xh ute computer the same as the ed but with the thermo fan control.

The reason for asking this is i know the xh ute engine is the same as the ed engine but with single belt and thermo fans is the thermo fan wiring harness seperate and is it easy to just take out the thermo fan wiring and the computer out of a xh ute.

I also need to know do the xh ute engines have the same coling troubles as the early e series fords or dont the xh ute engines have that trouble like the. au engines

I don't know of any cooling issues with early E Series aye.

My first EA was running rich cuz the thermostat was always open, changed it and it ran warmer (in the middle) and was not as thirsty.

providing your clutch fan is operating correctly( fluid coupling in good nick)
why would you wanna change to thermo fans?? just curious......
