Ay all, i have just bought a '97 el futura and im wanting to put my kenwood cd player into it but i cant figure out what color wires are what with the el, so i was wondering if any one knows how i could get a diagram or just knows what colours a power, earth, memory etc. I have tried to google it but was unable to find the answers. Cheers

I put a Kenwood player in my EL fairmont the other month. Go and buy yourself a "Kenwood to Universal" power cable and then a "Universal to EL Falcon". they cost about $10-$15 each but will save you hours as I had my stereo working within 2 mins of removing the old stereo, it just took another hour to fabricate brackets to hold a Kenwood in an EL hole, and get he dash back in.

As for loom convertors, bit of a waste of 30 bucks imo....if you know what your doing it does not take long to solder+heatshrink the new loom into place anyway
