I need a pic of the knock sensor location on the EL block.. I do have a manual (so shut up Bowsaw) but Justfordima has it ATM, I've had a look and can't see the thing.

I am lead to believe it is on the intake side between Cyl 5 and 6 just below the head. Can someone please post a pic to confirm this or to show me where the hell it actually is..

trying to find a pic of an el block is a pain in the a**.. was hoping someone had a copy out of the handbook with descriptions listed..

I've heard cyl 5 about 2inches below the deck. can anyone confirm this?

The knock sensor connector looks similar to the coolant sensor one - so it should be reasonably easy to spot, as there's not too much around it.

How did you figure that this is a factor in your missing issue ??
Have you ruled out the fuel delivery system ??
