just wondering what pedal box is needed for this conversion? XF or EA?

i would say xf have you both on hand ford some times dont change them over models
witch ever one you need reinforce it with steel plate they crack over time common fault

weld around plate as well on the pin to plate were you drill a large hole just so plate fit over it then weld all round hole and plate
the plate will go on the back of pin not on pin side were pedal is fitted

You`ll want an XH pedal box... prolly easier to get a clutch pin for yours and not have to remove it from the car though...

You`ll have to play with the ECU wiring too.
