Place in Sydney called the Gearbox Factory used to make steel ones for about $100 or so a couple of years back.
The other option if the threads in the housing are a bit chewed is to simply drill and insert self tappers from outside the housing into the nylon nut but make sure they are short enough to not go through the nut completely.

I've had them come out, wired them up, and replaced the nylon nut. Now that i have a metal lathe and the skills to use it I would make an ally one, but I don't have a single rail equiped car anymore.

Jeez were abit slow I have a post just above yours for a steel one, cost is about $75 posted and the alloy thread should not be stuffed due to nylon being softer than alloy, anyway with the steel one it is a tighter fit.

we used to buy the nylon ones from mitsubishi. same as centura
they were half the price of ford. under $20
aslong as the shifter housing is in good condition a nylon one wont be a problem. the metal replacement ones were slightly oversized and worked well in he buggered housings.
