Hi all,
Just looking for some opinions. As im not very mechanically minded I havent looked into much at all, but have tossed up the idea of doing a manual conversion on my BA. Im just wondering if any has any insight into the cost of the gearbox, what id have to use, any ECU changes etc etc. I would have to have all work done for me, so i know labour would be a killer. All opinions welcome.
Cheers
Dodd

would cost 2-3k and wont be worth it.

i have driven 5 speed ba xt's and i actually reckon they are a nicer car to drive as 4speed auto. just get a shiftkit and highstall and tranny cooler and 4.11 diff and she will smoke any na 5speeds.

however if you are also planning a lot of power then go for a t56 but its gonna cost a s**t and be an absolute nightmare to install.

imho with a Bseries its easier to start again with a factory manual car.

It's a nightmare and it's not worth it, the box itself is weak, and you are way better off spending the money on beefing up your auto.
