hey, i recently bought a set of hi-flow extractors and hi-flow cat for 540 and redback exhaust for 300.
I went to autobarn to buy gasget and the bloke recomended using exhaust glue, is it needed? And the one he gave me is only rated up to 300 degrees, which i only noticed when i got home. dont the extractors get hotter than that? cheers

You dont need any gaskit s**t on the exhaust or inlet manifolds.
Just make sure the surefaces are clean and free of dirt and old gaskit and bolt it up. I recommend a single piece gaskit as they are far easier to fit then 2 piece gaskits.

no why would he be joking, this helps the gasket to cook into position. Just a thin film not inmersed in greese.

Hi guys.
as the other blokes have mentioned, smear a even film of grease on both sides of the gasket.
