Yes I need to trace it out to make sure its seqential and no short cuts have been made in the injector wiring.

Yet to be determined if the wiring on EF is individual to each injector or not.

EF is not sequential? I have never heard a straight answer on that question since I signed up.

even if that is so, theoretically all u'll need to do is change it from batch to sequential, which if i am not wrong is just a part of the harness. or re-wire them in paralell and not series... or whatever.

Batch mode means that the injectors are wired and fired in pairs as opposed to each being wired and firied individually. Correct it is only a wiring thing for me but I dont have detail on the ECU output circuit to be safe in thinking you can short out pairs by plugging a SEFI ECU into a batch wired loom without damaging the output drivers.

For reasons other than swapping ECU, is rewiring the harness for sequential worth the effort?

I have other motives for the swapout, in fact as I run gas I dont have a need for sequential anyway.
