Yes the cat comes with them as the collector is welded to it. The cat rattles so...
I think welding them onto the factory cat is a good option as I believe the factory cat flows well. Easy to do too as the collector bolts to the headers. They are a big lump to post... I'd expect it to cost $50 at least. |

Mate I did not know the cat rattled until I removed it from the car. It drove fine. The flange at the back of the cat is the same as the factory cat and in the same postition so picks up the factory exhaust hanger there. It is at a slightly different angle so will not simply bolt up to the factory system.
Effectively the cat is an unknown - and it is externally smaller than the factory item which as I said earlier flows well. So given that someone has got a factory cat I'd use it instead. The Genies bolt together at the collector so this would be a simpler than 1 piece systems. Cheers, C |
