If I remember correctly, no they don't. I also believe the input shaft of the manual out of a 6 cylinder car, is not the same length as the one coming out of a V8 engine.
Something like that. phong =P~

so does that mean the gearbox is obsolete? or can i change the input shaft?
does anyone know where i can get a bellhousing to suit? i can do the work myself, it's just sourcing the right parts so, if anyone can help that'd be great.

Yep, gearbox is different (input shaft and 1st gear ratio), bellhousing is totally different. The v8 conversions are not easy to come by and are usually VERY expensive.
Wrecking yards are the easiest place to find them but it will cost $$$. I have seen people selling conversions privately but they dont come up often.
