I know of a few EA Turbo's they've worked on, both of which were quite impressive cars.

The guy that owns Davexr in Melton, and it is off it's head-i6, always has AVO do his work.

I've had minor work done there a few years back.

First time the car came back with minor damage, which they denied.

Second time was to fit a bosch fuel pump - pump was removed a year or so later due to engine leaning out, and was found to simply be a standard S13 pump even though I'd paid a fortune for it.

I will NEVER be going there again, even though they are 1 minute away from me.

a mate of mine had valve springs installed there on his XR6T, he was happy with the price and workmanship.

hmm interesting, im going there for a custom tune, im also having valve springs, injectors and fuel pump done at the same time.

i recently had a larger exhaust put on, 3" from the cat to the diff, where it splits into twin, 2.5" and then comes out as two twins, one each side of the car. because of the increased flow, the stock computer cant deal with it and its cutting the injectors and ignition at anything above 4 grand. so, in short, i need to do something about it pretty soon. its just hard to know where to take it and who to trust.

anyone had work done elsewhere that they can recommend? anyone else had their car worked on at avo?

dont go anywhere near HPF in Dandenong, the only other places i would reccommend in melb are Nizpro in Bayswater, or XTC in coburg (aka Dynowog from this forum). depends on what sort of tune u want.

the AVO car makes around 312rwkw from memory, i had a look at it at the ford nats drag day this year, seemed to go alright and the bloke behind the stand was helpful enough
