I've got to replace the radiator in the EBII Fairy. Does that fan need to be removed to do it? If so any tips/tricks with that? Aside from that is it a fairly straight forward job (i.e. remove all coolant hoses and tranny lines, unbolt the radiator, take out and put new one in?

That's about it, after unscrewing the top of the shroud, pop it upwards then just wiggle it backwards to sit on top of the fan. Undo the two bolts at the top of the radiator and pull it upwards, it should pop out of its bottom seat pretty easily. Don't forget to reattach the shroud after installation and check fan clearance.
Cheers,
Paul

So the fan doesn't have to be touched?

All done and dusted now. Had a couple of hickups but they're sorted. Turns out the bottom radiator hose is either the original one or one put on very soon after the car was made (as Dad's never changed it and he's had the car for most of it's 300,000kms - not a bad effort).
