Hey Guys,
I'm trying to get a roadworthy for my '93 ED Falcon, I've done almost everything except replacing a seatbelt, and fixing the battery tray. My mechanic said I need to get this battery tray done for roadworthy, what should I do? And how much will it cost? Cheers

If it bolts in then I'd suggest sourcing a good rust free second hand one from a wreckers.....Otherwise you may have to weld a plate over the top of the existing battery tray. One of my mates actually pop rivited a piece of aluminium over the top of his battery tray in his XP Falcon and it passed roadworthy no probs.

it doesnt bolt in you will need to drill the spot welds out and change it for a not rusted out one.
or alternativly remove it, and relocate your battery to the boot. should be able to relocate it to the boot yourself for about $100.

clean up with wire brush and clean the rust and hit with a coat of black paint and get a new battery holder on it he shouldn't look at it if it looks respectable
