Here you go poofters! Dribble s**t about LS1s all you want in here. When I open a thread about AU XR8 I should be able to read about AU XR8s, not poxy commodores.

I traded my SV8 for a XR8. The best part about the SV8 was the engine.

the only mention about commodedoors and there parts on this site should be bagging them, anything else and the poster deserves a flaming, I had to endure a work visit to the HSV "plant" today, suffice to say, it's a spoiler factory, with a shock and brake change added in, it's nothing special, even said Hi to Todd Kelly and his nicely painted CHEV V8, vistited the "Walkinsaw" area, bagging them all the way as a proud ford supporter should.

and to keep on topic even our guide (a HSV "Engineer") suggested that the LS1 is POO as is the LS2 and that they should be going with some other piece of crap yank engine he mentioned, but GM won't let them.... I didn't give a toss, the only thing I noticed was the rent a "SKILLED" labourers putting the "HSVs" together!!!

Sorry I accidentally removed some posts along with the crap iamdeath and bowsaw posted.

I have reopened so you can bag LS1s again, at the same time I respect LS1, LS2, and some of the late LT version engines for "total" power output I also think they are a pile of s**t due to oil consumption, rattles and lack of low down torque for a 5.7L, dyno and drag strip warriors is about all they are, "real world engines they are not".

We should register that domain name for a GM bagging site, I am sure I could setup a site we could add our say, once anyone has proven to be a one eyed Ford fan

boatanchormods.com is available, boatanchor.com and boatanchors.com an not.

How about GMboatanchors.com? It is available  Well it was until somebody just registered it, hmm Less than $5 for a stir, it is worth it.

Waiting to see why I can not change DNS 1 and 2 yet to my DNS settings, I have logged a report, if they sort it out for me gmboatanchors.com will be up in a few days.

$5 well spent if it works.
