hey everyone,

i have a AUII Fairmont Ghia 5ltr...

i have a stainless steel herrod motorsport exhaust system (2nd hand)

and a set of AU XR8 extractors (2nd as well)

now i want to know if anyone can fit them for me??? no exhaust shop wants to touch them cause its second hand...does anyone know to fit them on my AU and CAN CONFIDENTLY put it on my car for a bit of cash???

Note: its all bolt on so theres no modifications required to bolts and flanges.

please pm me if anyone knows and can do it for me for some cash...

cheers

It would help if we knew what area you live in,
also it would make the job easier if you had all new nuts, bolts, clamps, gaskets and maybe a O2 sensor as well.

Bit weird they wont install it for ya. Got my 2nd hand xr8 catback installed for $160, its still money to the installer.

Anyhow I think the AU's should be a bit easier to install the setup, especially if you can get the car raised up, if your having trouble finding someone to do the work, take a look at doing it yourself with some friends or your old man perhaps.

they are not easy to install especially if they have the allen key bolt head. thats why most peope will turn u away i spent 3 hours fixing a exhaust leak on a au with herrod extractors cause i had to make up a tool to tighten them up. i am a mechanic and would not touch it sorry dude.

Give Aussie Car Enhancements in Melton a call, Craig is a good bloke and should fit them up for you no problems.
