hi mate, i got a one muffler system on mine, but i removed the rear muffler like most others do instead of the middle one, this usually gives a meater and louder noise, and dosnt drone. but im pretty sure its illegal and its too loud too.

almost all 2.5 inch cat back systems for the falcon i6's are designed this way.... has the centre muffler still but deletes the rear muffler... and is a bolt in system... there's a few different company's that sell them on ebay... cat backs from $300 upwards...

well..WITHOUT it will certainly give you more clearance.. but will put you well over the noise limit thus still rendering you defectable (catch 22)... perhaps you could chop the factory muffler out and install a smaller aftermarket one???

Ive had the exhaust system with the centre muffler for near on 5 years.. and you know how low my car is... ive never had a cop crwl under to check before...

well... if you want
*lowered
*legal db (quitness)
*ground clearance..

i'd try with a smaller muffler..
if you ran JUST the rear muffler.. it might exceed the DB limit...

there is nothing illegal about removing the muffler or resonator as long as your car remains under the 90DB limit and passes all emissions (which i doubt it will).

get your extractors, a 2 1/2 cat back system with a single mi mount muffler. if hieight is your problem talk to an exhaust shop and get one cusotm made, pipe work work is easier to start with nothing than try and patch existing pipework

Do you have comprehensive car insurance?

I assume you dont, so who cares if its "legal"?

If you dont drive like an idiot theres hardly any chance it'll ever be picked up, and if you ever did get caught with it being too loud, simple trip down to the exhaust shop to weld a resonator on maybe $70 total.... no big deal !!!
