AU-onwards offset is 40 positive. While Pre-AU is no offset.
I've been comming accross conflicting material as to what size hub adapters should therefore be. According to the bloke selling them on eBay ( http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0185777501 ) they are 30mm. But somewhere else I read is that the 40 in the offset is 40mm, so the adapters should be 40mm. But then elsewere I read 35mm. And the ones that Tempe Tyres gave me last time are 38mm. Anyone know what the correct answer is? |

no one knows, i asked this ages ago and got a few diferent answers. here is the list.
1. ef/el +6 au/ba +40 2. ef/el +6 au/ba +38 3. ef/el +8 au/ba +35 4. ef/el 0 au/ba +40 ive got 35mm adaptors front and back and never had any problems but that was going on a majority of people saying +6 for e series and +40 for au/ba so i always thaught my offset was out by 1mm but after reading your post im thinking my wheels might be 5mm inwards. ive got no idea what it is, all i know is ive never had trouble with 35mm adaptors, touch wood.

tempe supplied me 35mm with my 18's. but when i went to 20's on the back i went to 20mm. helped eliminate scraping and still clearance on inner side.
