When your manifold is under boost there is no manifold vacuum so how does the brake booster work as their vacuum asisted. do tyou loose this and should we put in vacuum pump as they do in deisels. Thanks!!

under boost, they dont work. u will find that the plastic bung where the hose goes into the booster will have a 1 way check valve in it, stoping boost from entering, brakes still work but just not very well. why do u need brakes under boost? unless its for a burnout then just get a linelocker....

I guess most people take there foot off the accelerator pedal which shuts the throttle causing vacum in teh manifold, and then apply that foot to the brake, so by then the brake booster has vacum.

brake boosters have a built in vac supply to supply 3 assisted brake applications before you start feeling hard pedal

vacuum pump isn't a bad idea, i'll be putting one in mine. I have the same problem, not enough vacuum which gives the pedal a fairly short feel and not much brake

try fitting a decent one way valve, unless the booster is leaking you shouldnt need a pump, much better off to just use a larger reservior, it cant fail, a pump can, many cars have vac reserviors factory, pretty sure the VN has a nice round one, easy to fit under gaurd.

What about boost running into the pollution cannister in the front left fender? dose this have any negitive effect?

It's got a solenoid, it doesn't open to the manifold under WOT, or when there would be a boost condition.
It really only opens under cruise conditions.
Probably 90% of boosted E-Series have aftermarket ECU anyway, and never bother having an output for it to purge :lol:
