It can handle that, but won't handle it if you punish it. As long are you're sensible and don't have a hard clutch she'll be right.

Mine is beefed up with 3.9 gears, and a mini spool, the builder rates it to 400 rwkw, so you shouldnt have a prob if you treat it nice

Well mine has been rebuilt and all but im looking into changing my putting a AU XR8 diff in the rear so i get rid of my 35mm hub adaptors and didnt want to spend the money then have it break.

Do you think with if the car was slicked up at the track it would break with a hard launch?

EF and AU XR8 diffs are different. The EF is a live axle, and the XR8 AU's had IRS as standard.

i know my el diff if given s**t it doesnt like it.
ive blown it twice in a year.
but i agree if you get it spooled and bring the ratio up to around 3.9 or higher it will last a lot longer.

The XR8 AU's came with IRS with ABS standard fittment, only. The XR6 AU without VCT had live axles, and with VCT, plus the Fairmonts and Fairlanes fitted with VCT also had IRS. You could order an AU sedan, a Forte with IRS. It was an option, and along with that came ABS.

I think, not sure, but might have a 4 pinion centre with LSD.
