Hey all, im looking for a new headunit. I want if possible a gps and dvd player with arounda 7" screen built in. Single DIN..

Whats the best around? was looking to spend 5-600 on a gps and 600 on headunit seperate, but thought may aswell get them combined.. Might cost a little extra but hopefully will get a quality product?

Anyone got any ideas?

I've only seen ones like the Pioneers which have the optional GPS seperate - you hide the GPS unit under the dash or screen. You probably find there's not enough room to have the module inbuilt considering it's already got a LCD screen that goes in and it's only single DIN size.

Kenwood do a similar thing! You nuy the dvd player and can add a gps module to it! Big $$$ though!

O, and if you go down the Pioneer route, you'll probably wanna almost double that budget if your wanting one with an inbuilt screen.

I was hoping to get it all in one, but meh. Just going to go with a motorized dvd player with 7" lcd (Probably alpine) with outputs to run my 2 10" LCD's and a standalone gps mounted in my ac vents to the right of the steering wheel.
