After all the heavy rain recently, I've found that I seem to have some water trapped somewhere up behind the dash.
I'm not sure how it got in, (although the Air Vents at the top of the bonnet are likely suspects) but now I've got to try and get rid of it. I find that when I go a hard left, or hard right, (like around a hairpin) that I get a little splash of cold water on either my feet, or in the passenger footwell. Also, turning hard right, the fan slows down, like its being blocked off, and then comes normal, when straightening up. Sitting still at the lights, with the A/C running, it sounds like there is a little waterfall behind the dash. I don't think this is from the Heater core, as the water is perfectly clear, and not tinged with any coolant. Are there any usual suspects as to where the water might be trapped? OR has is come from something in the AC, and not the rain after all? cheers |

The first thing usually is to check if the heaterbox drain point is clogged.
