here's some new idea's ive done to mine....
take out battery metal rod holder downer thing... strip the black paint off it... polish the bare metal with 1200 grit sand paper.. then use auto sol on it to bring it up mirror shiney.... strip the battery of those horrible stickers on the top... warning labels and warrenty stickers can be re-located out of site... (they dishonour my eye's) rip those crappy yellow screw plugs off the top... and replace them with blacks ones for "colour coded goodness".... |

Thats what I've done to mine too.....The bloody stickers always tend to fade and peel with age and they look s**t. Looks so much better without them thats for sure.

Thanks for some of your ideas guys. Might try the suggestions of a home made cover or in a marine box. I particularly like Ford Fan 88s idea of incorporating a volt meter.
Bye the way, the picture isn't of my car. It's close to the way I'd like it when its finished. It's from "JR's" website. I'm working on bling and zing at the same time. Thanks for the sarcasm. It's better than being ignored. Oh, and sarcasm works much better verbally that in written word, even if the written words have a "pretty blue top" or are "painted blue like everything else".

Don't mean to steal your thread here but can the battery still be mounted with out the plastic box surround? I put in a new exide blue top and it doesn't really fit the box and it looks s**t.
