I am seeking a headlight knob (must be in cappucino colour) to suit a '98 EL Fairmont Ghia.

If anyone can assist please send me a PM.

Thank you.

I'd go straight to Fraud for it. Chances are anyone you get off here will probably be near breaking.

And from memory they are only $8 or so from spares.

I didn't realise Ford would still stock parts to suit such an old car. I will go to Ford directly in that case.

Thank you.

Mine just snapped clean off, I was quite amazed but I guess it was almost 10 years old.

Ford will always continue to stock items that easily break and are a good money earner, even for older cars.

Hence their stock pile of EF / EL headlight knobs, interior light switches and leather shifters. All easily broken, and good money earners.

And snapping right off without warning is exactly what they do. I would think is now a near normal occurance for the EF/EL owner.
