You Can Remove all the dash, a single bolt near the kick panels and in the middle remove the centre console and then two bolts there up top near and near the speaker bit on the top peice of the dash and there is hex screws and remove them and pull the top peice of and then there are an array of screws up to once un done there is the dash out....

but then comes undoing the plugs etc etc to get it out properly...

or

Parts Required
5/8 Bolt, 2x washes, 2x 5/8 Nuts

installing the clutch pedal I used a (5/8 Bolt some people get the Mal Wood Clutch Pin (but I didn't)) and put the clutch bushes on then clutch pedal then other bush, then before you put the washers on get a bench grinder and take either a "corner" off or little half circle cut out.
This is so the washer will sit proper on the brake pivot (you will see what I mean) put a washer on the side closet to the pedal box slide the bolt

and clutch into the hole and then put another washer on the inside, get a nut tighten it up to a point were it is firm and were the pedal can move freely, use the other nut as a locknut. Having done this, feed the clutch cable through the protrusion next to the brake booster until the nut hits the rim. Go back inside the car and attach it to the top of the clutch pedal.
Make sure the spring is attached to the back of the pedal still.

Measure the travel of the pedal, it should be 140mm + or - 3mm. If the cable's stretched, this means nothing, just adjust it until the gearbox end is not likely to fall out of the box the adjustment is to screw up the nut which prevents the cable casing going thru the bulkhead.

You don't have to pull the dash right out, just move it forward once it's all unbolted, then you will be able to get the pedal box out. Alternatively you could get the Mal Wood clutch pedal pin for about $90 would save a lot of head aches.

When I did the conversion on my old EA I found the hardest part was swapping the pedal boxes. The rest is all pretty easy really. Just persevere and you will get there eventually.
