I wasnt happy with them, cause the idle was a little rough and my car ran a little richer.

the spark allways travels the shortest path of less resistance so you still end up with one spark, ive read on a few forums that they arent much better than a standard plug. i reckon 4 spark points on the base could even loose spark power because of electrons escaping to the other 3 points. i chose NGK Iridium IX over a CDI system and unlike my old plugs they never miss, and a noticable increase in performance.

lol, the NGK Iridum's are $20 a pot so its a bargain if the Bosch plugs dont take away your fuel economy. if they run like crap, you could try breaking off some of the base collectors so it uses one or 2 gaps. dunno

i recently bought 12 for $12 from super cheap auto recommended retail is $10 a plug and they sold out pretty quick,i bought them for my au which is on gas and theres been no probs at all.

gas or regular unleaded should be fine. alltho, i wouldnt trust them with a high compression or boosted engine where gap performance is much more noticable.

Save the plugs for fancy euro vehicles, not the falcons.
Best bet is stock NGK's. My car made 138kw with stock ngk's with minimal mods so they cant be that bad. Its all a gimmick |

they may be a gimmick but at a $1 a plug why not,i wouldn't pay $10 for them but i seen a bargin and they work fine

yeh same, a mate who works there got a few packs and gave one to me. I'll put them in tomorrow when I'm changin the oil n dash cluster.

i also got 6 for 6 bucks (90% off) Didn't notice much difference, just starts a touch faster..
also i think it drinks more fuel now

shouldnt use any more fuel, hopefully... seems a bit stupid that new plugs would increase fuel use..

I fitted NGK Iridium's to my XR6 back in April 2002!
They've been in the car for 5.5 years, travelled over 80,000 Km and have never missed a beat.

ive got them in ther AU and I cnat really describe any difference. I cleaned the pod when i put the plugs in and it did pull a little better, but that could just be the clean filter.

gimmick Id say. they are a gimmick, standard NGK's would probably have the same performance. I have allways used NGK because they are a good brand. i did the drop test on a few different brands and NGK had the strongest ceramic, all the others broke or cracked. (fun too) i mainly got the Iridium electrode because they do last longer (sales pitch) and they fire allmost 5mm closer to the head as aposed to the Denso plugs that were in there from the previous owner. NGK Race series leads next? dunno ..its a nice blue
